THANK YOU FOR A GREAT YEAR!

My sincerest thanks to all our families for their continuing support of the Burke Catholic Athletic Program.  Additional thanks to all our student-athletes who consistently represented the Burke Catholic community in a way we can all be proud of.  Lastly, to the Burke Catholic coaching staff I thank you for your commitment to the coaching ministry. Our student-athletes are blessed to have you as such positive role models.

I wish all our graduating seniors the best of luck in all you future endeavors. Remember just because your gone doesn’t mean you’re not part of the team.  Hope to see you all at games next year.  For our returning athletes, start setting those goals now for the 2010-11 school year!

I hope everyone enjoys a relaxing, enjoyable and safe summer vacation.

“Sports are not merely the exercise of muscles, but the school of moral values and of training in courage, in perseverance, and in overcoming laziness and carelessness. There is no doubt that these values are of greatest interest for the formation of a personality which considers sports not an end in itself but as a means to total and harmonious physical, moral and social development.”  His Holiness Pope John Paul II
