Parents, please note the following:

The passwords given out at Back To School Night were temporary and have been changed. All user names remain the same.

Please contact the school at your earliest convenience to receive your new password. You may send a message through the Contact Us page or Call 845-294-5481. Please be patient as we do our best to respond to each support request during school hours.

You will not be able to log in to PowerSchool until you receive your new password.


Logging In To PowerSchool

Once you receive your new password, you may access PowerSchool at http://powerschool.burkecatholic.org. Never use ”www” before “powerschool” or it won’t work. Use the web address exactly as shown.

If that doesn’t work, please try using the IP address  http://74.40.204.164

Note: Pearson School Systems Technical Support stated that users of Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner service will have to log in using the IP address. Please contact Time Warner to see if they can help makepowerschool.burkecatholic.org work for you.

 Frequently Asked Questions

1) PowerSchool says ”Invalid username or password!” What’s wrong?

  • Have you contacted the school to receive your new password? If you used the Contact Us page to send in a request did you spell your email address correctly? One parent’s email address was missing a number when they filled in the form and they never received my response. As a result I changed their username and password for security reasons.
  • Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, which means capital and lowercase letters matter. Make sure letters are lowercase for your username and capital for your password. Also, make sure to never use spaces in your username or password.
  • There may be something wrong with either your username or new password. You may send a message through the Contact Us page or Call 845-294-5481 for help. Please be patient as we do our best to respond to each support request during school hours.

2) I go to http://powerschool.burkecatholic.org and get an “Index of” white page with “robots.txt”. What is this?

  • Are you using Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner Internet service? Contact Time Warner to see if they can help resolve the issue. In the mean time use the IP address http://74.40.204.164.

3) I can log in to the Parent Portal, but when I try to look at my son’s/daughter’s grades I get “Page not found.” What’s going on?

  • Please press the back button on your Internet browser and try again.
  • Still doesn’t work? It’s possible that our PowerSchool server may be experiencing technical difficulties. You may send a message through the Contact Us page or Call 845-294-5481 for help. Please be patient as we do our best to respond to each support request during school hours.
