John S. Burke Catholic High School is holding a used clothing and other household item drive April 12th until April 18th. The following items will be accepted in a well tied plastic garbage bag:
Usable and wearable clothing (men’s, women’s and children’s) for all seasons
Shoes/sneakers (must be bagged separate from other goods)
Pocketbooks, backpacks, briefcases, suitcases
Belts, hats, gloves, scarves, ties
Baby accessories made of fabric
Blankets, bed sheets, pillows, quilts, comforters
Kitchen and bath accessories made of fabric
Table cloths, drapery, curtains, towels
Stuffed animals
Toy cars, trucks, airplanes, action figures
Dolls and doll houses
(Hard toys should fit in a 23″x24″x21″ box)
Collected items will be sent to underprivileged countries.
This is a great opportunity to do some spring cleaning. Please let your relatives and neighbors know as they are welcome to donate as well.
Donations are to be dropped off at the front entrance of the school anytime during the week or on Saturday, April 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
